Physicians Formula PH Matchmaker Lip Gloss

Hello everyone!!! I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the newest product from Physicians Formula!

It is the pH Matchmaker pH Powered Lip Gloss. At first glance, the packaging is really nice, and reading everything this lip gloss has to offer is very interesting.

It claims to instantly match you in 60 seconds by reacting to the light and your pH to give you the perfect lip color. Hmmmm... can this really be???

Another selling point about this lip gloss... IT LIGHTS UP!!! OMHeaven.... you had me at Lights Up!! It even has a mirror on it! Yes, lights, a mirror and it matches you...

Mirror, Light and Brush Applicator
So un-packaging it.... it is beautiful.... love the design... the light button is on  top of the wand. There is a mirror on the side of the lip gloss. The applicator itself is a brush. It has everything you want in a lip gloss.

But, does it do what it claims??? Well.... yes, it does!!! It goes on clear and in a matter of seconds the shade starts changing. It's pretty awesome actually! The consistency seems to be thick, and a bit sticky. I like that though.

The final result
Here is a comparison below on how it looked on my lips compared to how it looked on my hand. In my case, I have two different shades. I am happy with the lip shade, but I actually like the swatch on my hand better. But would I wear it? Yeah, I would. It is possible that each time you apply it you will get a different shade.

All in all, I think this is an excellent product from Physicians Formula!! I am very pleased with the lip gloss, and I would repurchase it. I do recommend you go get yourself one also. It costs $8.93 at Walmart. For that price, and all that you get with this Lip Gloss, it is well worth it. :)

Sally Hansen Greige Gardens / Be-Jeweled combo

Hello!!! Happy Monday everyone!

Starting the week off I am wearing this awesome color combo from Sally Hansen. I have the Sally Hansen Greige Gardens from the Complete Salon Manicure line, and on my ring fingers I have accented them with the glitter color Be-Jeweled Gem Crush also from Sally Hansen.

I absolutely love these two colors together. I think since the Greige Garden is such a muted purple that the Be-Jeweled works well with it and brings some sparkle to your hand! LOVE IT!! Took some inside pictures and some outside pictures and posted them below to compare.

The box shows comparison results up to 9 weeks. I will keep going with this as I am seeing results.

I will do another comparison picture at 2 weeks!! Lets hope this is really working and not my eyes playing a trick on me!

Maybelline Superstay 10 HR Stain Gloss

Okay... let me just start by saying I was a little unpleased with this stain/gloss. Maybe I should have done my "color swatching" homework first before I bought this item today!

I thought I was going to be so happy with my "Pink Plush" stain gloss (#100). I love "pinks"!! Well, I got home couldn't wait to try it. Opened it up and put it on... it's not PINK!!! It's a more of a red color or really deep pink! Red doesn't look good on me, I really try to steer clear of reds for lip colors on myself. So I am thinking to myself... did this get labeled wrong or something??? It didn't match the color swatch that was with it in the store either! It's just not what I was hoping for!

So, get on Maybelline's website, find the Superstay 10 HR Stain Gloss and look at the color chart. HOLY MOLY!!! Some of these names don't even match their colors! My color Pink Plush matches the swatch they have for it which is a reddish color. Maybe it's a deep pink, but it isn't the pink I was looking for. :(

Get this.... Refreshing Red (#130) is more the color pink I am want! What the heck??? Am I missing something here? Is the joke on me??? I don't get it.

Anyway, needless to say I am stuck with this lip stain... I liked the way it went on, but I didn't leave it on long enough to sample the wearing time to see if it was really 10 HR. Maybe I will find the "Refreshing Red". But, first... I think I will look for swatches on You Tube!! :)

Sally Hansen Gold Combo Nails

Hi everyone! I am really loving this nail polish combo so I thought I would share! I bought the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polish in Gilty Pleasure (#310) (not misspelled) and I applied the Sally Hansen Gem Crush (#03) glitter in Big Money on top. For my top coat I used the Sally Hansen Insta Dri Anti Chip Top Coat. I really love this look! Also, the nail polish wand on these are the larger ones and make it so nice to apply the polish.

Outside in the sun it is really sparkly!! Love it!!

Sally Hansen Insta Dry Anti Chip Top Coat

Hi everyone!!! I am really loving this Sally Hansen Insta Dri Anti Chip Top Coat. I have tried it twice and I really appreciate the dry time on this top coat. You first apply your nail polish, however many coats you desire, then wait two minutes, apply one clear coat of the Sally Hansen Insta Dri Anti Chip Top Coat. Wait 30 seconds and your nails will be dry to the touch. You can then go on about your day and touch things. I don't like to wait around for my nail polish to dry, and that usually means I have to wait until the kids are in bed to do my nails. But with this stuff, I don't have to wait... I can paint my nails during the day and save my evenings for other things. Yay! I hope this helps anyone else looking for a quick dry top coat also.

Garnier Skin Renew: Anti-Sun-Damage

I am doing a trial on my sun spot that I have on my upper cheek near my right eye. I have a dark spot in the shape of a heart, looks like a heart to me anyway. I hate to get rid of it, but I want to see if I can. I can see it through my foundation, and it bothers me that I can. I saw this the other day and I didn't really find many reviews on it. So I decided I would take a picture of my sun spot every morning to see when and if I see a change in it. All of these pictures will be morning pictures after having applied the lotion at night, unless otherwise noted. I am also applying this lotion before foundation in the morning.

I will post a new picture every Monday to compare with the week before to see if it has gotten lighter.
